Rochele Gloor

Rochele Gloor is a designer and emergent technologist from Brazil living in New York. She worked as a creative director in her laboratory of experimentation for sustainable futures in fashion and, in 2020, transitioned her practice to digital art and immersive technologies, holding a BFA in Fashion Design from FIT and a MS in Creative Technologies. Gloor served on the inaugural advisory committees that developed institutional generative-AI guidelines at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she teaches in the MFA Computer Arts program. She is a Collaborator of the ACM SIGGRAPH Education Committee and a Global Advisor of the VIEW Conference, where she was named a VIEW Conference 2026 Trailblazer Award Winner. Her work is based on experimentation and grounded in the relationship between Nature-Human-Technology, with a focus on aesthetics and contemplation.
