Phil Tippett, Founder of Tippett Studio, is a pioneer in Visual Effects and Animation. With a career spanning over 45 years, Phil has received nearly 30 major accolades including two Academy Awards® for Jurassic Park (Best Effects, Visual Effects) and Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (Special Achievement Award), two Emmy Awards and prestigious honors like the Winsor McCay and Georges Méliès Awards. Phil’s groundbreaking work is featured in iconic films such as Star Wars: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Robocop, Jurassic Park, and Starship Troopers, among many others. Tippett continues to shape the industry with recent contributions to The Mandalorian and Rian Johnson’s Poker Face.
