
Marco Mazzaglia

Marco Mazzaglia graduated in 2000 in Computer Science at the University of Turin with a thesis on Artificial Intelligence. After working for 7 years in fleet management for the Police Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, he held the role of IT Manager and Video Game Evangelist for Milestone from 2008 to 2013, dealing with the design and management of development systems and architectures for online gaming for titles belonging to the MotoGP, SBK and World Rally Championship (WRC) IPs. In 2015 he worked as IT Manager at Ovosonico, where he collaborated on the production of "Last Day of June". Since 2016, he has held the roles of Business Developer and Video Game Evangelist for Synesthesia and MixedBag, working on original titles such as "forma.8", "Avery" and "Waking Violet" and "Secret Oops!" (Apple Arcade), and on several product conversions on consoles or mobile devices. In February 2020, he participated in TED with the talk 'Beyond Gaming: Video Gaming as You've Never Seen It'. Today he is the Technical Director of the Academy and Video Game Evangelist at Synesthesia and an adjunct professor of "Game design and Gamification" at the Polytechnic University of Turin in the Master's Degree Course in Cinema Engineering and Computer Engineering.
