
Marc Scott
Visual Effects Supervisor, Trolls Band Together, Dreamworks
With over fifty credits to his resume (and counting), Marc J. Scott is one the industry’s most celebrated visual effects artists. His burgeoning career in visual effects started with a 160-mile daily commute to work as an unpaid intern for a video post-production facility. Now, with over twenty-eight years of computer graphics experience in live-action feature film, computer animation (both feature and television) as well as theme park attractions, Scott has established himself as a leader in innovation and creativity.
A twenty-plus year veteran of DreamWorks Animation, Scott has worked on nineteen film and television projects for the company. His work can be seen in several of DreamWorks most celebrated franchises and films, including How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fung Panda, Madagascar, and The Boss Baby. Prior to his role as visual effects supervisor on Trolls Band Together, Scott served in the same capacity on The Boss Baby: Family Business.
Prior to joining DreamWorks Animation, Scott worked on a number of iconic, visual effects driven live-action blockbusters, including the Academy Award® winning films Titanic, and Independence Day, as well as The Fifth Element, The Mummy, and Armageddon.
Marc J. Scott resides in Valencia, California, with his wife Christy, their daughter Jayleigh, and their regal hairless cat, Duke Leto. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences.
