Multi-Emmy Award-winning producer Kane Lee heads content at Baobab Studios and is executive producer for the studio’s groundbreaking works. Kane has always led at the intersection of technology and media. He masterminded the first-ever adaptation of VR IP into a traditional feature film, with Roth Kirschenbaum Films (Maleficent, Alice in Wonderland) and signed on to partner with Baobab to bring Invasion! to the big screen. Kane is a producer on animated and live action projects including: The Tiger’s Apprentice (Paramount, directors Carlos Baena and Raman Hui), Oni (Netflix, director Dice Tsutsumi) 5 Worlds (Nickelodeon), The School for Good and Evil (Netflix, director Paul Feig), Frozen (Disney), Jennifer Lee’s The Way Between and the international award-winning TV series Spooksville. Previously Kane was Vice President of Development and Production at Jane Startz Productions and his credits include 20th Century Fox’s Horton Hears A Who!, Ice Age: The Meltdown, and Robots. He is on the Producers Council of the PGA and is an advisor in interactive media for the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
